Anyone have any feedback on a number of GDI Object values that should cause concern?
Under XP's Task Manager you can use the View/Select Columns menu to insert a column called "GDI Objects". This column will monitor your application's use of GDI Objects. I have a VFP application that peaks around 1200 GDI objects. Should I be concerned? (the application in question dynamically adds and removes controls to a main form) As a basis for comparison, on my system both Explorer and Windows Media Player show < 700 GDI Objects in use.
