Hi Michael

I did most of the work on the EDI system at the beginning of the year.
Then it went Cold as the supplier said they were going to ditch it and
go XML possibly. Now it has been resurrected. Apparently they got the
message that the existing system was working, A new system was going to
cost megabucks and wasn't going to be ready till 2008 so I have to
interface with the possibility of changing then. The way its picking up
the EDI data should be quite easy to change so it picks up XML or
whatever they decide on. Anyway they want it and have agreed to the
price so its up to me now.

<<EDI/Purchase Orders/Sales Orders>>

Congrats!

I wrote a system to tie Pegasus(!) to one of the UK brewery systems in
the early 90s. Three weeks after it went live the brewery changed
systems and all the work went into the bin. At least we had delivered
and been paid before the fateful day!
