I notice some posts on the forum from Matt Slay and others, requesting the ability to connect it directly to VFP data via OLE DB. There's some mumbling about it from the MS side, the current position seems to be to use a WCF RIA service to expose the VFP data, then Lightswitch can work directly with the WCF RIA service. This is another load of layers though, which of course multiplies the number of stupid little things that need configured or can go wrong. Since the full release can apparently work directly with MS Access this seems like a cop-out. -- Alan Bourke alanpbourke (at) fastmail (dot) fm
