For what it's worth, I just got a notice yesterday from Polderbits 
software...they have just released their new video recording software 
package, capable of recording screen capture for software demo's and 
training.

I haven't tried the new video recorder, but I have used their audio 
capture and editing software for several years. VERY easy to use and 
best of all they release frequent updates and fixes (although thank God 
not as frequent as Adobe Acrobat.) Prices are very reasonable, software 
is solid, and the developers are responsive.

Well worth the download of their 7-day trial package.
