Sorry, Pete, I have to break my "no OT" oath on this one. 1. Practically anything can become a 'religion' for some folks. To assert that this is true for "most scientists" is ludicrous. Surely scientists can be no worse than anyone else in being susceptible to wishful thinking? 2. Why do you laugh at the scientific method? It is responsible for most of the knowledge progress for the last six centuries.
