I have a VFP app that is run over the internet via RDP. (Long story...) It is in a multitude of branches, and all things work fine in all but one.
When my app is run local, I have code to pick a printer based on the kind of report. ie work tickets go one place, financial reports to another, etc. When I run it via RDP, I turn off all that and tell it to use the user's default printer. I always thought that if in the config of the RDP session, you told it to use local resources, the reports would be directed to the user's default printer... ie locally. It also seems to hang the when loading the application via RDP. As stated above, this is happening in one branch out of many. It also started just recently. We have checked and rechecked that the settings are the same, except the address of the server. We have rebooted the server. We have gone in via RDP remotely, without running the program and we have been successful in running from there. (However that is local, and therefore all of printer code comes into play.) We have examined the source to confirm the reports Printer Environment is off. Any ideas?
