Ah. So you're not so much damning a past decision. You're mainly agreeing that N. Korea can't be reasoned with and so we should invade them now. Right?

That's a marvellous idea, apart from the fact that it's next to impossible...

Right, and the Republican guard was going to stop us at the gates of Baghdad and take 10,000 of our troops in the first couple weeks alone. Everything is impossible when you don't want to do it.

Let me guess, what we really ought to do is sit at the table with the Dear Leader and give him anything and everything he asks for, including a free back and foot rub, and a couple hand-me-down nuclear reactors so they don't have to reinvent the wheel, in exchange for more empty promises to stop his blackmailing and saber rattling. After all, he's such a cute, kookie little dictator, not harming anybody outside his borders (and there's hardly anybody left inside to murder, maim and starve anyway, so what's the point of getting worked up about that? water under the bridge I say...)---who are we to judge? And while we are at it would should thank Kofi for just being who he is, and hand over our entire gross national product to the UN. Just to be fair. Then, double the Kyoto protocol standards and lay off our entire workforce, granting everybody free health care and drugs from Canada and an adequate wage to afford cable TV and weekly lottery, box office and concert tickets, in exchange for basically NOT working, so that nobody has to commute to work anymore, saving the planet and impressing both Barbara Streisand and Jacques Chirac while we're at it.
