Hey guys, You always find neat little treasures when you are looking for something else. I found this little add in for Beyond compare that allows one to compare vfp files. I looked at a few scx files and it was right on it.
One gotcha that took a little while to figure out. If you have 64 bit put the plugin in c:\vfp2text folder and not program files (86).
