I'm already way ahead of the group. I'm starting analysis on how to move cloud-based apps to managed corp assets (e.g. network). After a few years of outages, hacks, poor performance, etc, it'll come back around. ;-) But it seems if you want to stay in this industry you'll need to consider moving to another country with a low cost of living. If you think IT out-sourcing is bad now, just wait until the "promise" of the cloud is interpreted as "Why pay these high-priced US techies to live in the US?" -Charlie _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
