Spent 6 hours with HP on this before solving.

After 3 hours, told me that my 64-bit machine is not compatible with Ultimate.

After another 3 hours with other Support, they sent me links to two drivers to 
solve problem.  One for the Wireless and one for the Ethernet cards.

They didn't work.

I went to their site and downloaded an earlier Network driver and now all is 
well.

Can you not download the appropriate drivers from HP and update your box
from there?  Can't recall this not working in the past provided that there
is a driver available for your O/S, ie Windows 7.

Did you, perhaps, change from 32-bit to 64-bit?
