Governor Scary Perry by his power of appointment to the Texas State Board of Education is rewriting history to conform to the views of Religious Righters. Among the casualties are:
1) Tomas Jefferson, a prominent progressive member of the founding fathers, who was involved in writing the USA constitution. He coined the phrase, "separation of church and state". Thomas Jefferson condemned slavery.
