How about seeing if Greg Green (GKK tools on universal thread) would be
willing to make his editor available for you to tailor, or at least that
part of the system dealing with formatting/highlighting.
Thinking about it what you are asking for makes quite a bit of sense...
perhaps you should release a library? ;)
