FWIW, I've been very surprised recently with how well end users picked up the concept of using a virtual machine. They kind of relate to it like it was a browser or application window where you do other applications.
I thought there would be a lot of grief and problems, so far, one month in and it is smooth as silk (and it has really helped solve a difficult problem). Has kind of taught me not to underestimate the end-user (they can be a lot dumber than you expect, and a lot smarter.) Ideally, you'd like to quarantine the apps into a safe little XP box. _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
