Hi all, Using VFP 5.0 Prof. on a Dell(ug) laptop running Xp, while program testing. Any run time crash causes an m$ pop-up requesting details of the crash.
Well funny thing, the crashes have to be my fault. The environment has a mix of machines cooperating in a process control environment running a common state machine. As Stephen once said its a bitch trying to convert software you did not write. Pardon me Stephen, thats not a direct quote. Does anyone know how to kill off this intrusion, please. Also where can I read to up where to tell the lap top likewise. Just because one buys a machine from dell (very small d) does not mean one wishes to spend a whole living second clicking for them. At 73, seconds are becoming hard to come by. No project machine is connected to the net, all except the laptop were home built.
