So, since I am seeing the dialog appear out of its normal position, VFP has gotten confused by something, like the way I've stretched out my IDE window to 3200 pixels wide?

Matt, You can't control it natively under VFP unfortunately .... unless you use the coding I posted onto Ed's Profox board. This gets a handle on the window and moves it to wherever you want. Just looked and it doesn't seem to be there ... or did I not post it ... Mmmmmm! Anyway, emailed it direct to you so check email Dave -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Matt Slay Sent: 21 October 2011 14:35 To: [email protected] Subject: What controls MessageBox positon? I have a dual monitor setup, and I have my VFP IDE window streeeeeetched across both monitors. I have a few tools that I use from my IDE, and one of them throws up a native FoxPro MessageBox(), but it appears in the center of my *right* monitor, rather than centered across the entire window span, as do all other MessageBox() 'es I've seen. I cannot replicate this behavior from the Command Window, as each time I try it, it appears centered across the overall window, as expected. So I'm curious how the calling code (from the tool I'm using, which I have not studied yet), could be causing the MessageBox() to appear farther off the right like it is? I am not aware of any settings or flags that allow one to specify where the dialog appears.
