Techies and consumers often have very different opinions on a product value.
When in the mid 90's analysts started forecasting a huge growth for the
intenet, I confess I did not believe it at first; and it finally happened.

All what I've seen announced in the past 20 year finally happened, sooner or
later, but did came through.

That's the only reason why, based on experience, I believe these propheties
will come through, despite I do share your doubts about the product's real
benefits and usage.

What benefit brings the latest fashion compared to last year's? and people
spend millions on latest trendy jeans or shirts.

the heaviest pledge for m$ is to have ignored people's opinion and taste for so
long.
