Our kid used to sneak into the living room and watch tv at night. I cut the power chord and put in a connector and took the "pig tail" to bed with me.
I don't really want to shut down the router, although I have used the shut off during certain hours but he was able to get around it somehow. He changed his IP address. I would really like to slow it down to the point of frustration. That is my goal.
