This was all knowable back in 2008. You're not a follower of Saul
Alinsky and chummie with folks like Bill Ayers (ghost writer of your
memoir), Jeremiah Wright, Al Monsour, Odinga, and countless other
demented left wing radicals AND also somehow at the same time an
admirer of classical liberalism, a la John Locke and Adam Smith.

I want to take those influential conservatives who insisted in 2008
that OF COURSE Obama's not a socialist and whack them upside their
pointy heads. But that won't undo what has been done.

It was a nice Republic, while it lasted. We have lost it for lack of
discernment on a point that should be obvious to anyone with a
functioning medulla oblongata. But the country was worked up through
relentless propaganda to desire 'anyone but Bush' so that even a
crackpot socialist tyrant-in-training with qualifications -- and
credentials -- as dubious as Obama's could squirm through to the White
House, and stick the knife right into the heart of our Founding
principles.

Oh well.
