said "I'll bet you $10,000 that is not true".

Is it true? I read a report somewhere it was in the hard cover book but 
was edited out of the soft cover.

So Perry won by not betting it says here . . .

The larger question is Romney's willingness to throw down that kind of 
cash - he is not a man of most people, or "the" people. He is a man of 
rich people.
