Hi Michael, It is a separate issue, but the way we decide cost of living now is flawed in that the "market basket" does not include the two main drivers of inflation: food and fuel. Correct that and the current system for that decision would not be too bad. I think you have revealed one of your true loves - harsh criticism. Things that you didn't originate are frequently "ramblings, irrational, without any sense, wrong, stupid, dumb, wacky, poor" - must be fun. (and in the last 1035 [OT] posts you have contributed one original thread - which in fairness did OK) TIC. By the way, this "scheme" isn't new - it was proposed during the "Robber Baron" period by one of the "Robber Barons" himself.
