Do you get an error with set library too, if so its the c++ runtimes. I use
the 71 version myself as the 71 runtimes are used by VFP

I've downloaded the latest version from Craig's site (120KB, 4/5/2006,
7:04pm). After I SET LIBRARY TO vfpencryption.fll and then try ?
CRC("PASSWORD"), VFP fails saying "File crc.prg does not exist" which
means it's not finding it in the FLL.
