Well, that rules out Guineu, although it's usable from .NET from 32 and 64 bit systems... There are at least two established products on the market, though: a) Codebase has been on the market forever (http://www.codebase.com/) Their C# library is a managed wrapper around a c++ DLL which is fine if you intend to run on Windows, but doesn't work for embedded platforms or Mono. Not sure this has changed in the meantime, I looked at Codebase probably 4 years ago. They ship their source code. b) Advantage Database Server is a server based system that uses DBF files as its storage. It's currently owned by SAP, so definitely a major player. ADS has been touring VFP conferences and user groups for the past few years. Both of them support xBase index expressions, but they won't execute stored procedures in a DBC or UDFs in an index expression, as they don't include a FoxPro runtime. --- StripMime Report -- processed MIME parts --- multipart/alternative text/plain (text body -- kept) text/html --- _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/cal4qjhi02ympz-pdhzifh+b9jxktxb8h0hbo0j6eby609ff...@mail.gmail.com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
