If you are just holding data on it then there is no problem. I WOULDN'T use it however to run the application .exe from as I know this can cause problems and it is all to do with permissions, most of which I don't understand and neither do I want to. You need to have the .exe on the XP or equivalent workstation, then there should be no problem.
Dave -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Jeff Johnson Sent: 03 January 2012 12:15 To: [email protected] Subject: Windows Home Server I have a customer that asked if my VFP application would run on Windows Home Server. Looking into it, it appears to be a server only and must be accessed by a client such as XP. It reportedly had some corruption issues that M$ said came from on of their applications - one of them was Outlook. It doesn't sound like a good fit for my application, but I was wondering if any of you had experience with it.
