Thanks to Leland for hijacking my thread <g>, we have a couple of intertwining subjects here: color printer for the home (me) and b/w for him. As I said before, I have a Brother b/w printer, too (HL-2270DW). It has worked well for us.
It seems like all of the Brother consumer-grade color printers that they have are "all-in-ones." I have a scanner, and "I don't need no stinkin' faxes." I just don't understand why have the scanner/faxer stuff. That is why I moved away from the Canon line. OTOH, if the printers are OK, why not have the other junk?
