I'm using MariaDB (which, if I've read it right, is basically mySQL 5.x). I'm using the LOAD DATA function from inside HeidiSQL. I must have been looking at import wrong before, as it now looks like the native IMPORT option (which translates into that LOAD DATA command) will work within HeidiSQL, but now the date format is screwing with me. The provider's input file has the dates in "MM-DD-YYYY" format (complete with quotes!) instead of "YYYY-MM-DD" format.
I'm scouring the help files but wanted to throw up a signal flare in case someone had an idea. tia, --Mike -- Mike Babcock, MCP MB Software Solutions, LLC President, Chief Software Architect http://mbsoftwaresolutions.com http://fabmate.com http://twitter.com/mbabcock16 _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
