I've achieved paperless, Hal. It took a lifestyle change, moving into an RV, to make it really happen, but it is doable. I wouldn't say it's easy or painless, and I do keep a small set of a few dozen working file folders for some current stuff, and a bunch of banker's boxes in storage for historical reference, but a day-in-the-life is 95% electronic. Needless to say, I'm religious about backups.
