Not everyone in .NET is closed to Linux.  Below is the reply I got from a
conference I attended last Fri. 
 
My total note was trimmed to keep it shorter and on this point.

    We appreciate your comments.  Your idea about using Linux is great,
perhaps you could recommend some speakers that could present this topic.
While we held a .NET centric conference we are definitely open to different

It was a good selection of sessions that were really getting the direction
of .NET today. Good job, well you were just lucky that the speakers showed
up guess :)

I like the one day Fri date. It's better then a Sat. show. IMO at least. 

I wish you would have done a Linux environment for databases, giving an
opportunity for companies on the CHEAP to get a .NET app with a good cheap
data source. Sometimes it would be nice to see more then just a microsquish
presentation.
