What do they call the term - "6 Degrees of Separation". And, its via that which has people connected all over the place. I suspect that it's the New Friend you accepted that has the Connection to your Ex. So - its just a coincidence is all...
-K- -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of M Jarvis Sent: Wednesday, February 22, 2012 5:19 PM Just a couple days ago I read an article about how uncanny it is how LinkedIn can determine connections that it shows to you under "People you may know"... sort of in the light of "you have no place to hide, and neither does anybody else for that matter".... So today a friend of mine sends me a LinkedIn request, I accept it, and in the People You May Know section is the name of an ex girlfriend from over 20 years ago... she and I never exchanged email, cell phones or calls, never lived together, never signed documents together... we just kinda hung out mostly... So how in the blazes did they somehow come up with that obscure of a connection??? This is a bit scary... -- Matt Jarvis _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/289ea162f5642645b5cf64d624c66a140b7ce...@us-ny-mail-002.waitex.net ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
