Yep the Beeb is great, there is the licence fee of course which is the flipside of no ads. Having said that our state broadcaster RTE has a licence fee and *still* bombards us with poxy ads ... but I suppose I get BBC1, 2, 3 and 4 on Sky Digital so I can't complain.
