You can never be too rich, too thin, or have too many fonts! :) I do chafe a bit at the Ubuntu self-promotion of the font as the "first ever" and the release under their own Ubuntu Font License. Red Hat released Liberation fonts under the GPL in 2007, iirc, and Oracle licensed and released Liberation Sans Narrow (a great replacement for Arial Narrow in those Windows installs lacking them, btw!). Sometimes I think Ubuntu is working too hard promoting the brand rather than the Open ideas. Do check out Liberation if you haven't already: that's my standard terminal font: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberation_fonts -- Ted Roche Ted Roche & Associates, LLC http://www.tedroche.com _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/cacw6n4u0nqw3-wgurxhrivrnjblagn7oemo5+cml8mxcpw1...@mail.gmail.com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
