I never had another Ford until I got a 95 E250 which was a good van. A 78 Nova gave up on me a whole bunch of times as did a couple of mid 80s Plymouths. Right now I have a 99 Escort on the way, don't know what to expect of it. Last time I got a tow, maybe 04, the driver said that AAA was only paying $4! He took the car to a garage and wouldn't take me home 7 blocks away. I have been stewing about that ever since. That and the 45 minutes waiting on hold for the goddamned operator to pick up. Might just not get it and take my chances.
