Actually I am working at home today, as I do every other Friday. It saves me a 40-mile each way commute on the worst traffic day of the week (405 South = parking lot on Friday afternoons). The house is quiet, kids are at school, wife is at work, the dogs are sleeping. I look forward to these days as they are by far my most productive days!
There are no co-workers talking on speaker phones, arguing who is taller Harry Potter or Justin Beiber (who cares!) and carrying on all sorts of non-business related conversations - or even business related ones. My office is a VERY talkative place and my concentration is broken at least twice a day. My requests for an office (and there is one vacant) continue to fall on deaf ears... YMMV, but in my case working at home works out great! It can be nice to wander over to a co- worker and bounce ideas off him or her. And working at home (as John mentioned) can be far from distraction-free. -Jerry [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/0bac2c1927422843b2c121c8b41684af1b60f...@dfw1mbx24.mex07a.mlsrvr.com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
