I would hope so as well.  I would have thought that should have been a
test case. If you can create an XML file, can you reverse it and bring
that data back into a cursor?  

So, I found out my issue is dealing with NULL values and still wanting
all of the fields in the cursor in the XML file.  Nulls are sooo much
fun!  Not!  <BG>
