Python, Ruby et al do not have a native GUI system like Visual FoxPro, or Visual Basic or Access. In some ways this is a pain. In other ways it's great because you are free to use any one of a number of standard GUI libraries like Qt, wxWidgets and so on - as long as there are wrapper classes for your language of choice. It's like running Linux - I can change my Ubuntu to use the Gnome user interface, the Unity interface and so on just by choosing an option at alogin time. -- Alan Bourke alanpbourke (at) fastmail (dot) fm _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/1335426725.8611.140661067545049.79e81...@webmail.messagingengine.com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
