I know how to Google but I'd like a recommendation from the folks I trust here.
My
client has flaky software to view output from several security DVRs around the
country feeding live video in from several cameras over the VPN. He rightly
wants to
be able to glance up to the big screen I have set up for him in his office and
see
the output from all the cameras. Usually, if a network issue happens at one of
the
sites, the video will come back when the network issue is resolved, but
sometimes the
video doesn't come back at all and the software is of the quality that it
requires a
specific incantation of clicks and answering 'yes' to various dialogs to get
everything back again the way he wants it, and he doesn't want to learn the
spell.

I was thinking of installing some macro-recording software, and saving the
incantation and running it periodically as a scheduled task.

Does anyone have any advice for a specific piece of software? This is running
on
Windows XP.

Paul
