Were any of males in Obama's lineage residents of or citizens of the United States of America? If not then it really doesn't matter because other countries feel differently about polygamy and that is their right. We, as Americans, need to not pass judgement on that choice.
Besides, I'm not really so sure what the problem with polygamy is. If all parties are consenting to the arrangement, I fail to see the harm.
