For those of you who connect to a secure (Linux, OS X) machine on the
web, ssh has been the standard for secure and reliable operations. SSH
clients are built into Linux, UNIX and OS X, but have been difficult
to get on Windows. Typically, to get Secure Shell on Windows you had
to install PuTTY or CygWin. Now Google is offering an add-on to Google
Chrome that provides ssh:
