How they will howl if a company pulls out of a town leaving everyone high
and dry. When ConocoPhillips shut down its gasoline refinery in Trainer, PA
last September, the town was devastated.

An aside issue is that the EPA is coming down hard on refineries and their
regulations are too costly for them to make a profit. Over half the gasoline
refineries have already shut down which will push up gasoline prices in the
future.
