Desktop app: VFP9
RDBMS: MySQL 4.0.13t (localhost)
Connection Type: SPT, using SQLSTRINGCONNECT for DSNless connection. No CURSORGETPROPS defining fields...just "as is" from SPT query. Problem: MyTable.nDecimalField is a decimal (8,2) field type, yet the query returned shows it to be a Currency type ("Y"). Question: How can I get VFP9 to see this as a decimal type, and not a currency type (without kludges in the UI objects or having to add explicit CURSORSETPROPs)?
Desktop PC: Dell Inspiron 5100
Operating System: Windows XP, SP2
Priority: Normal (read: *not* desperate)
Other: We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sun glasses. Hit it!' - Jake and Elwood Blues

Ideas? tia!
