I can't understand the motivation. He brings down a bunch of systems. So 
what? He is still living in his mother's basement when not in prison.

Doesn't seem to be any way to profit. Unless he is the IT guy for the 
places he attacks and then they call him to put it back up?

Seems like a guy with that kind of skill would be already too busy . . .
