That is what I had to replace. There is a heater core in the freezer behind the wall that will get clogged. If you empty the freezer and open that back wall you will see it iced up. My guess is that it is frozen now and no air can get through. HTH ----------------------- I have 1 yr 3 month old Whirlpool with the same problem, bad auto defrost card. Had to buy a addition 1 year warranty for 350. I remember when a fridge lasted 20 years.
