Works out of the box, Dave. I just mapped some areas in New York and it
recognizes "floral park ny" and "brooklyn ny" in the "from" and "to"
fields. 

I then entered (had to slightly expand the entry field) the address:

144 main st, narrowsburg ny    

Brought up the map ... then clicked Add Pushpin, and walla - there I am.
Right from with a VFP app  this time! <G>

That's very good!

I don't see any login or user id values in your code, so guess the
Virtual Earth webpage I looked at was talking about some product MS is
selling that uses this facility, i.e. it appears the facility itself is
free.

Also, that's an interesting example of calling HTML script functions
from VFP. Haven't seen that done before, so another good thing learned
there.
