I really have no idea what they've done.  Last time they messed with the 
configuration file of the application (changing paths) and then 
complained bitterly that the system wasn't working.  So far I've heard 
that they apparently installed a new SQL Server and demoted this one, 
but I don't know if that would cause this problem.  The junior IT person 
present says he saw this happen before.  The main problem is the head IT 
guy is on vacation.
