No, just a home in the Bahamas for his 6 week vaca each year.

Actually, the dental surgeon guy (Endodontist) who did my 2nd root canal 
retired right after that. He graduated from the same college I did, two 
years behind me! I think he retired at 48. His wife, also an Endo, was 4 
years his junior and worked for two more years, then she retired (I know 
because she did my 3rd root canal.) Then the other Endo who did my 4th 
RC retired about a year after my procedure. I know because my 2nd RC 
needs to be redone and I tried to set up an appt with him...

A former college roommate of mine retired from his dental practice when 
he was 40...he owns a lot of commercial real estate up in Colorado 
Springs now. There's gold in teeth!

One thing to remember...it's better to pay the Dentist what he wants 
than to drink soup the rest of your life.
