Good spot Malcolm, I forgot about that one and I got bitten with it about 6
months ago when I set up a server and forgot to set the codepage correctly.

Hi Sytze,

I believe your problem is related to code page of your indexes. I can't
remember the details (you may want to post on the UT?) but I think you need
to make sure that your indexes and your tables have matching code pages -
ideally both should use Machine Collation. (Disclaimer: I may be mixing
things up with that description, but it may be enough to get you
started)

While I can't remember the specifics, the good news is that the problem can
be easily fixed.
