Hi, Tracy
Some features of forms interact with the current Windows "theme",
resulting in weird colors and shapes depending on the theme selected.
I think this started in VFP 8 or 9. You can set the .Themes property to
.F. for a single form or for _screen. I always set it for _screen at
the beginning and forget about.
I think Tamar Granor is one of the authorities in that area.

I've done all my VFP work on Home Premium (64-bit) for a couple years
now. No problems, except you need to remember to do
_screen.Themes = .F.
