I do this all the time with Box.com
Upload, view, collaborate, keep 10 versions of files .. space is not an
issue.

Subject: [NF] Recommendations for cloud photo storage

I have a client with about 25 gigs of photos stored on their LAN. They now
have a designer working in another state who needs access to the photos for
use in brochures and a web site. The designer works on a Mac while the
clients system is using Microsoft Server 2003 with XP workstations.

My initial thought was to use remote desktop access but I don't know if this
can be done from a Mac. Another possibility is Logmein. Perhaps someone
has a recommendation.

The ultimate solution appears to be storing the images in the cloud. Here
is my feature wish list:

Stepped costs that scale to space in use Access control to manage access to
the photos Batch upload to allow copying an entire folder at a time
Provision for assigning tags either at upload or at a later editing step
Retrieval of a list of thumbnails based on one or more specified tags
Selections for actual download from the thumbnails An integrated sizing
capability on download that allows the user to specify the appropriate
resolution An integrated cropping capability on download that allows the
user to specify the area of the original as well as the resolution Logging
of image use by user I doubt that my client's needs are unique or that I am
the first to envision such a system but I don't have the time to research
what is available right now. Any help?

Thanks in advance,

Joe
