I love how you think that this is the republicans fault. You have no idea if a bill reinstating the tax cuts for those making less than $250,000 would be introduced no matter what you think has been said. The tax monies from allowing the top rates to return to Clinton-era rates would do little to stop the out of control deficit that this country is dealing with.
