Ted, Geez... I really cocked on that one.... blame my age! For Kevin, I still have two customer sites running Foxpro (Foxplus) on SCO UniX & Xenix. Bear in mind that it is the old MSDOS equivalent though and not VFP. It works well despite not having any file/record locking but there were always programatic ways around that.
Thinking about it, those sites are now over 20 years old... running on an Altos box ... not a bad return on investment! I'd welcome contributions by other devs who've had mixed success in getting various versions of VFP running under WINE, as my original results are quite old. http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=296 -- Ted Roche Ted Roche & Associates, LLC http://www.tedroche.com --- StripMime Report -- processed MIME parts --- multipart/alternative text/plain (text body -- kept) text/html --- [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
