Desmond: Make sure IncrementalSearch = .t. for the combobox so as the user types the listindex increments When populating the combobox issue: thisform.combobox.requery() thisform.combobox.refresh() and you should see the contents

Can select the two fields and display, but when typing the number it doesn't seem to validate, i;e display 001 Customer A. If they enter 001 it doesn't move to that spot... Can I do that? In addition the combo box comes up empty, if I use values I can force the first record to show up, using a cursor I can't find the appropriate property to do that? Move the pointer to the top and still no joy... Appreciate the help, realize this is basic but just want to get it done and move on!
